This Banks in the world list consists of smallest to the biggest and the fattiest banks in the world. Our team has spent more than 200 hours in research to compile the list. We have visited each and every bank before included in the list. You would be overwhelmed after knowing that there are so many banks in the world to bank with. And there are some banks with one branch and there are some with hundreds of thousands branches. Some has handful of employees while others has in millions.

We have segregated the list in a manner which would make it easier to read. There are more than 25000 banks in the world. It was a very difficult task for us to find each and every bank in the world. There are many banks which are not operational. Whopping 150 trillion is the combined total assets of all regulated banks in the world. The banks with the highest assets are mostly situated in America, China, France, Japan and United Kingdom.
